Recovery brief

Does the offer show faster recovery?

Less pain, a healed injury and a return to training are different goals. Name the one that matters to you before discussing a product.

An advertised purpose is not an approved use

FDA is the Food and Drug Administration. FDA’s application records show no U.S. approval for a BPC-157 product or an ipamorelin product as of September 2026.

That finding concerns approval. It does not, by itself, prove harm or tell you every detail of the compounding rules.

For the BPC peptide, an important question remains open

In its July 2026 review of BPC-157, FDA said there was too little safety information from people to tell whether the proposed treatment would cause harm.

Ask whether the safety evidence covers how you would receive the medicine, such as a shot or a tablet.

FDA staff also argued against adding BPC-157 to the ingredient list for regular compounding pharmacies.

Neither statement supplies a promise of faster recovery. Ask for evidence of the recovery result itself, rather than treating a product name as the evidence.

Keep the claim close to your own goal

  • What is the cause of the problem being treated?
  • Which result in the cited evidence matches my goal?
  • How would we decide whether the plan is helping?
  • What other care can we compare with this offer?

A headline about a committee is not permission

The July 2026 committee meeting considered whether to add peptide ingredients to the list for regular compounding pharmacies. FDA’s meeting page still lacks minutes, a transcript and a roll call, but HHS’s policy draft dated October 30, 2026 reports votes in favor of listing BPC-157, semax, epitalon, KPV, TB-500 and MOTS-c.

A committee vote in favour would advise FDA; it would not authorise a pharmacy to use that ingredient. FDA must finish the legal process for changing the list, including asking for public comments.

If an offer cites that meeting, ask for the current rule that allows the pharmacy to use your exact ingredient.
